Electronic Technician:

Full-Time (Non-Exempt): Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
Main Focus: to provide customer service - phone support and repairs. Required Skills: Demonstrate a deep knowledge and understanding of electronic circuits, systems, and components; Ability to perform electrical calculations and apply related theory to electronic repair and troubleshooting; Proven ability to lead projects and complete independent research; Read an electrical schematic and build prototypes circuits from the same; Use the primary tools of electronics; the digital multi-meter and oscilloscope; Handle multiple projects at once and work with minimum direction; Maintain correct and legible records for customer billing and other purposes; Communicate (written and orally) all information on operations and projects; Farming background a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Repair and troubleshoot ALL Hiniker Electronic products (including flow components); Develop an understanding of all Hiniker systems and will learn to troubleshoot customer system problems over the telephone; Research, investigate, and gather pertinent technical data for projects; Prepare sketches, drawings, and schematics for approval; Design and repair test equipment for production; Test projects to determine the viability of prototypes for production; Control research and prototype parts inventory; Receive supplies, repairs and miscellaneous packages and help maintain records of the same; Repair and calibrate Hiniker flow meters and flow components as needed; Maintain a clean and well-organized work environment for efficient operation; Build prototype circuits as assigned by an engineer; Control repair parts inventory and will take inventory for reporting purposes as required; Miscellaneous duties as assigned; Microsoft Office and AutoCAD familiarity a plus.
